This past weekend, AASU gathered at Babcock Hall's Food Application Laboratory for a cooking competition. We had six great teams who received an hour to prepare their yummy food. Teams were required to incorporate two secret ingredients, such as sardines and lemons, to add a twist and extra challenge to the competition.
Three judges tried the final products and scored them on the following categories: taste, presentation, and use of secret ingredients. From Korean corn dogs to peanut butter noodles, the judges received a variety of dishes that fell into the event's street food theme. While each team put in their best effort and offered delicious dishes, only one team could win. Congratulations to Austin, Julian, and Max who made okonomiyaki, a Japanese style savory pancake!
